The 6th Great
Gilbert & Sullivan Sing-Out

Friday, August 31 -
Sunday, September 2, 2018

What is the Great Gilbert & Sullivan Sing Out?
Come join our expressions of glee!

The Sing-Out honors the immortal operettas that were created in a partnership of the superb librettist, Sir William S. Gilbert, and brilliant composer, Sir Arthur Sullivan, and VLOC’s tradition of bringing these evergreen productions alive for its audience. It also celebrates the great American traditions of community and musical theater by inviting members of civic theater companies from around the country to come together to display their musical talent and experience.

The Victorian Lyric Opera Company will kick off its 40th Anniversary by giving Gilbert & Sullivan fans the opportunity to experience and sing through the complete musical scores of all thirteen of the intact operettas.

The Details

● Principal, Conductor, and Accompanist Registration is now closed. Chorus Registration will remain open until Sing-Out weekend.

● Best efforts have been made in casting all who registered for a principal role, but due to the volume of registrants within particular voice parts, there were not enough roles for everyone. The Sing Out Committee has done its best to honor registrants role preferences, but please realize there were many applicants for some of the better known roles. The same goes for accompanists and conductors (shows may be split between multiple people if demand warrants to give everyone an opportunity.)

● We are also providing the opportunity to sign up as a "Lord High Substitute", in the case that a role suddenly becomes available due to unforeseen reasons.

● The registration fees must be paid at time of registration.  (Accompanists' registrations will be complimentary, in exchange for playing at least one show. Children 12 & under may attend for free with a registered adult.)
- Full Weekend registration includes: Friday evening Welcome Reception and Breakfast on Saturday & Sunday.
- One-day pass participants are welcome to attend the reception or breakfast on the specific day they attend.

- Saturday dinner may be reserved/pre-paid as part of your registration.
- Saturday lunch options will be available for purchase on-site.

● You must register in order to be able to participate on stage. Non-singing registrants will have all of the same access (stage, audience, meals) as singers with registration.

● "Audience-only" tickets will be available for purchase in blocks from the box office closer to the event, but it will be cheaper to register than to buy tickets for individual blocks for the whole weekend. Audience-Only Tickets: Adults $28, Seniors (65+) $24, Students $20 (per Block)
