Policies & Procedures
Illness Policy
If you are unwell or are displaying symptoms, you are strongly encouraged to stay home, both so you can recover quicker & to prevent spreading anything at rehearsal, and thereby avoiding additional absences all around. Notify the Stage Manager before rehearsal, as we may be able to provide the option to join by Zoom (link above). This policy is subject to change if conditions in the community change. Masking is optional, and masks will be available at rehearsal.
Member Code of Conduct
All participants must read and sign the VLOC Member Code of Conduct. If you have any issues or concerns regarding perceived incidents of discrimination and/or harassment, regardless of the offender(s)’ identity or position, please use the Concern Resolution Path below to ensure they are addressed.

What you agreed to on your audition form:
- If cast, I agree that I shall not hold Victorian Lyric Opera Company (VLOC) liable for any injury or harm incurred in the course of preparing or performing this production.
- I hereby consent to the photographing or audio recording of myself and my voice and the use of these photographs and/or recordings singularly or in conjunction with other photographs and/or recordings for advertising, publicity, or other business purposes. I understand that the term "photograph" as used herein encompasses both still photographs and motion picture footage.
- I further consent to the reproduction and/or authorization by Victorian Lyric Opera Company to reproduce and use said photographs and recordings of my voice. Further, I understand that others, with or without the consent of The Victorian Lyric Opera Company may use and/or reproduce such photographs and recordings.
- I hereby release Victorian Lyric Opera Company, and any of its associated or affiliated companies, their directors, officers, agents, employees and customers, from all claims of every kind on account of such use.
